Finding a great GMAT tutor

How can you be confident of choosing a high-quality freelance 1-on-1 tutor? Consider the following concerns people have about freelance GMAT tutors:

At some point during your study with the Official Guide you would discover two big weaknesses with how the practice questions are presented:

  • There is no easy, automatic way to track your performance by question sub-type as you practice (e.g, to be able to determine that you should focus on "number properties" questions in quantitative, or "idiom" questions in sentence correction)
  • Though question topics are shown in the detailed answer explanations in the Official Guide, the questions themselves are neither arranged nor indexed so that you can easily do targeted study by those topics - which is critical to further improvement once weak areas have been identified
